Help students get prepared for today's high skill, high demand, high wage jobs

Did you know that 8 of 10 jobs of the future will require some level of post-secondary training or college degree, yet just 30% of our local students meet the minimum requirements to apply for our State colleges and universities upon graduation? Career Technical Education offers a new model of education that integrates work-based learning with core academic curriculum, including STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education. It's a model that engages students with authentic, hands-on opportunities that build crucial technical and soft skills and prepares them for both college and career.

As the school year kicks off, we're launching a new campaign to fund skill-building tools, equipment and supplies that will help students develop the career-relevant skills they need to succeed, and we invite you to be a part of it.

To do this, we're asking a few of our key partners and supporters to rally their friends, family, and networks to support CTE Foundation's work. By joining our peer-to-peer campaign, you will increase access to unique educational experiences that will inspire thousands of students to reach their full potential in life, community, and career.

Getting started is easy to do, and it's fun. We'll even give you all the tools you'll need to make a difference. With your help, I know we can reach our campaign goal by Thanksgiving!
